Being that I live in Canada, we usually get our Ipsy bags a bit later than everyone in the US. That being said, mine from March finally arrived and they didn’t disappoint! This month included a bronzer, eye shadow brush, 3 day straight hair treatment, new eyeliner and a liquid lipstick ! Woo-hooo!
The bronzer is awesome. Its baked. When swiping your brush across it and then across your face, the powder doesn’t end up everywhere! Its super blendable and not too orange as well.. perfect because I have somewhat fair skin!
The eyeliner was a surprising hit! It is a greenish/grey colour that I would normally never choose, but found out I really like it! It brings out the green in my eyes and is perfect when you don’t want something so harsh, like black!
The eye shadow brush is great too! The bristles are super soft and thick, allowing you to get a nice deep colour and to make sure you get it precisely where you want it! The handle is actually fairly long too, which I personally like. I don’t like small travel sized ones, as I find their harder to grip, making it harder to blend!
Liquid Lipstick? My new favourite. Its so much easier to work with than a regular lipstick and has such a stunning vibrant finish. It surprisingly lasted for quite a few hours. I would recommend bringing it along if your headed out and plan on eating, or if you will be out for a super extended period of time (ex. work, then out for the night). Otherwise no complaints! Love the shade they gave me too!
Lastly is the 3 day smooth cream, which I haven’t yet tried. I have heard great things from other people though! Plan to save this little guy for camping season, when washing your hair isn’t always an option & neither is having your straightener! Throw it in your hair Friday before styling and it should help to protect you from unruly hair for the weekend! (Tip: I travel size dry shampoo for my roots too!)
