Laying in bed all day, binge watching your favourite show..probably with snacks in hand; were all guilty of it. Now you have watched every episode of your fav show and your having withdrawals, been there too. I have a list of my top 10 shows worth getting into once you find yourself in this sad, sad predicament.

  1. Making a Murderer.  If you haven’t heard about this one, are you even a binge watcher? This Netflix documentary spread like wild fire shortly after being released. Shortly after being let out of jail from a sentence of 18 years for a crime he didn’t commit, Steven Avery finds himself being charged with murder. Everything about this case is fishy, and it definitely makes for a good binge watch.
  2. Greys Anatomy. Another extremely well known show. Many people are turned away due to the ‘medical’ aspect of the show, but I assure you it is so much more. I am personally quite squeamish when it comes to blood, and needles but Grey’s doesn’t take it too far. Following the life of 7 medical interns, you will laugh, smile, scream and cry. The cast couldn’t have been chosen better, either.
  3. Person Of Interest. A show to keep you on your toes. A computer know it all created a world surveillance system that the government is after. He, along with his CIA trained partner, and the help of 2 cops they use this system to stop terrorist attacks, and help those in need. All they have is a social security number, it’s up to them to figure out who that person is, if they are a threat or if they are in danger.
  4. The Following. A little bit darker. A cult leader who has been incarcerated hasn’t stopped leading at all. With help from his cult, he is torturing the cop who put him behind bars. Did I mention that cop is now dating his ex wife? Well worth the watch.
  5. Scandal. Loosely Based  on Real American Politics. Following a ‘fixer’ who works for everyone in power in Washington. She has an affair with the president, and has a lot of dirty work to cover for politicians. I am not into politics, but Scandal is so much more.
  6. Pretty Little Liars. If you want a full week binge..this is what your looking for. An unknown is torturing 4 girls for their secrets. ‘A’ is everywhere, and knows everything..there is no getting away. Love stories, death threats and serious mystery make this impossible to stop watching. The beginning can be confusing, but keep watching, it all comes together.
  7. Wentworth. Life in prison for woman. Similar to OTNB but way better. Focusing more on the guards, and the warden who is psychologically unstable. Every episode is bound to have you saying WTF.
  8. Dexter. Forensic Analyst or Murderer. How about both. Dexter has a twist though, he only kills certain people, for certain reasons. Always on the cusp of being caught, you could binge this all weekend. Does being a forensic analyst make it easier or harder to be a murderer..watch and find out!
  9. Suits. A bike messenger with a photographic memory sweet talks his way into becoming a lawyer, who never passed the bar. He’s good, but being in the spotlight draws lots of attention. Keeping his little secret might prove to be more difficult than he thought.
  10. How to get away with murder. A lawyer who takes a few chosen students under her wing to teach them her ways. However, being a good lawyer doesn’t always mean playing nice. Her, and her students have quite a few secrets. Trying to keep up with who did what in this show will keep you watching for hours
